Abstract   A massive choriocarcinoma of the liver with occult uterine lesion is reviewed. A brief summary is given of the current status of diagnosis and treatment of metastatic gestational trophoblastic neoplasms (GTN). It ia discussed that surgical intervention for complication of GTN was quite useful to stabilise patients. It is emphasized that all female patients who have liver or/and gastrointestinal tumor may require determination of HCG level preoperatively.
